2022 Celebrity Challenge
The ENS AUTO 2022 Celebrity Challenge Event partners ten locally-owned restaurants and 20 local celebrities, to raise funds for numerous local non-profits, as well as increase sales and provide valuable local exposure for the restaurant partners. The restaurant partners have also each committed to providing 500 meals to the Friendship Inn over the course of the next 12 months.
HOW DOES THE CELEBRITY CHALLENGE WORK?
Celebrity Take Out Challenge is an annual event where 2 local celebrities are teamed with a local restaurant partner. Each celebrity team will do their best to promote their restaurant and raise as much money as possible with gift card sales for their restaurant partner. The restaurants are graciously donating a minimum of 15% of all gift cards sold!
After the July long weekend you have an option to pick up you gift certificates at 2 locations: Al Anderson Sports or Lucky Bastard Distillery.
Alternatively we can also deliver your gift cards to your home or office.
At the end of the event, the winning team is the one who has sold the most gift cards and increased the Facebook & Instagram fans/followers of their restaurant partners the most over the challenge period – June 3rd – June 24th.

Local entrepreneurs, sisters, best friends and professional chocolatiers, Ying and Julianna Tan are used to working as a team. Those Girls at the Market duo have been slinging health-focussed organic raw chocolate bars since 2014. The store started at the Farmer’s Market when they were full-time students….. They are ready to take on the challenge of selling the most gift cards!

YING TAN
Ying Tan is a massage therapist who owns & operates her own clinic called Prestige Health. She contracts her sister there, too. Ying is a mama of two babies, a great listener, and loves to power-walk in the cold. She loves classic rock and plays the drums in her spare time.
HOMEQUARTER COFFEEHOUSE & BAKERY
HomeQuarter CoffeeHouse & Bakery is locally owned and operated and it is becoming a staple in the River Landing area of Saskatoon. They have delicious products and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing.
Previously located within the Saskatoon Farmer’s Market for over 9 years, they opened their new location in 2018 across the street on Ave B in The Banks. HomeQuarter is a place that feels like home, with a warm welcome, impeccable design and with a wonderful beverage selection. You will be amazed by the delights showcased in the large chilled dessert cabinet as you walk in, and their lunches, soups, weekend brunch and dinner items are all cooked with love in their farmhouse style kitchen. The owners Lee & Grace, also own Riverbend Plantation, and you will find Saskatoon Berries galore in their baking and menu items! Be sure to check out their fabulous patio that opened in May of 2021.
