Ens Auto 2021 Celebrity Take Out Challenge – Restaurant Partners
Meet The TAKE OUT CHALLENGE EVENT, 2021 Restaurant Partners
The goal of the Progress Club – Saskatoon Downtown Take Out Challenge Event is to raise funds for several local non-profits, as well as increase sales and provide valuable local exposure and promotion for 12 wonderful locally-owned restaurants in Saskatoon. Each of the participating restaurants in 2021 has also committed to donating 800 meals to Saskatoon’s Friendship Inn.
Take-Out Tuesdays -How Does It Work & How Does It Help Local?
It’s pretty simple! Every Tuesday in May, starting on May 4th, we will be encouraging everyone that can to order take-out from one (or more) of the 6 featured restaurant partners of the week (see the 2weeks each restaurant partner is featured below). By doing so, you are supporting their restaurant at a time that they really need it. Covid has been VERY tough for the industry, and many restaurants closed for good because they could not make it financially through the pandemic.
By supporting our restaurant partners on Take-Out Tuesdays you will show them you appreciate their massive commitment. They are each donating 800 meals to the Friendship Inn AND 15% of ALL gift card sales in June. In June we are running our Take Out Celebrity Challenge portion of the event (details of that to follow soon).
