2021 TAKE-OUT CHALLENGE DELIVERY SPONSOR.

The goal of the Take Out Challenge Event is to raise funds for numerous local non-profits, as well as increase sales and provide valuable local exposure.  Riide has stepped up to be this year’s delivery sponsor.

HOW DOES THE CHALLENGE WORK?

Celebrity Take Out Challenge is an annual event where 2 local celebrities are teamed with a local restaurant partner. Each celebrity team will do their best to promote their restaurant and raise as much money as possible with gift card sales for their restaurant partner. The restaurants are graciously donating 15% of all gift card sold in the challenge period – June 4th -20th 2021.

The restaurant partners have also each committed to providing 800 meals to the Friendship Inn over the course of the next 12 months.

riide is a vehicle for hire taxi service similar to Uber and Lyft. riide’s mission is to bring fast and accessible transport to millions of people, while supporting thousands of local drivers working with family-owned companies. The next time you need a ride, tap riide!

riide follows National and Provincial laws and regulations that govern “vehicles for hire”. This translates into safer ride for you and a fair fare for the driver.

riide does not use “surge pricing” which means we charge the same fare on a Wednesday afternoon as we do after midnight on New Year’s Eve. They also offer accessible transportation to people from all walks of life and utilizes a local call centre.
